Description
This is a controller for LED lamps from hortiONE. The features are similar to those of the
fan controller but regulate LED lamps instead of fans. The controller is available for hortiONE (420/600 series). For installation, simply connect the supplied plug to the appropriate socket of the LED lamp.
• Monitoring of temperature, humidity, and light output
Knowledge is power. All measurement values are recorded over time and can be viewed at any time
via the included analysis tool. In addition to the measured values, the day/night cycle and light output are also recorded. This allows conclusions to be drawn later and
the system can therefore be continuously optimized.
• Maximum comfort through automatic LED dimming
Always in control of the climate. Target values for the desired temperature can be set.
Depending on these target values, the LED output is automatically adjusted so that these
values are achieved. The system always uses the maximum possible light output,
so that as much light as possible reaches the plants. The dimming is completely
stepless.
• Optimization of energy consumption by minimizing required output
Save money and reduce energy consumption. By reducing light output to the
minimum necessary maximum, you simply save money. The LED lamp operates only at the power
needed to achieve the desired target values. This saves energy
and money without lifting a finger.
• Sunrise and sunset
Simulate nature. Sunrise/sunset can be easily set individually. Depending on
your preference, these two parameters can also be set differently. It is also
possible to operate completely without sunrise/sunset. During sunrise, the light output increases linearly
over the desired duration until it reaches the maximum based on the target values.
• Overtemperature protection
Avoid heat – better harvests. Especially on hot days, temperatures
in the tent can become very high. That's why there's a built-in overtemperature protection. It kicks in when
it gets too hot for the plants. Once the temperature limit is reached, the controller automatically
reduces the LED output. This ensures that the plants still receive light, but
the temperature does not become too high.
• Extra-long sensor cable
Measure where it makes sense. The supplied sensor cable is long enough to place it directly in
or near the plants. This way, the climate is measured directly at the plant
and allows for even more precise control of the parameters the plant is dealing
with.
• Reduction of light output for small plants
Less power for small plants. Especially with strong LED lamps, the output can be too high for
very small plants or cuttings. That's why we offer the option to reduce
the LED output, providing enough light for the plants, but not too much.
This way, strong LED lamps can also be used for cultivation.
• Control day/night cycle
Convenient and easy. The daily cycle can be set or changed conveniently
from anywhere.
• Display shutdown to avoid any light disturbance
Peace during the dark phase. The display is connected to a timer and will therefore automatically turn off
after a certain time. This ensures that it is truly dark during the
dark phase and that no stray light affects growth. It also
saves some energy, and you don’t have to worry whether it’s truly dark.
